GREAT SATISFACTION FOR OMA SYSTEM'S BRAND
The 42nd Marmomacc ended, it represents the International Fair of Marble, Stones, Design & Technologies, leader of the exhibitions dedicated to the stone market, which focuses on materials, processing technologies and design, distinctive features of the Made-in-Italy.
This year it guested 1.510 exhibitors, coming from more than 50 countries (+4% compared with 2006), the half of these were foreign, on more than 76.000 square meters area (+ 5.5% compared with 2006).
The foreign exhibitors increased (+ 6% compared with the last edition), they exceeded in number, 26.000 attendances, from 110 countries, historical record for the Fair.
The visitors was 65.000, 43% of which were foreigners.
The exhibition promotes a field that, according to Istat data is recovering its vitality and “health” and that in Italy have more than 11.000 companies (and 60.000 employees), with an annual turnover of more than 4 billion euros.
Marmomacc", said the chairman of Veronafiere Luigi Castelletti, "confirms to be the reference fair for companies, designers and technicians, an event eagerly awaited by Italian and foreign companies. The marble field is growing under all aspects, investing in quality, technology and training. These great results, obtained thanks to the work of enterprises and also thanks to a willing of development in Italy and abroad. "
Our feeling, however, was that the attendances this year were lower than the previous editions.
For what concerns us, OMA SYSTEM presented itself with a new stand that has met the consent and approval of Pavilion 5 visitors. In addition to renewed aesthetics, that made it brighter and easily practicable, further attraction was the presence of three new products, presented for the first time, the electric edge profiling machine Multispeed Taurus, the new cutting machine Galaxy G8 and the Kit CNC 6 Plug & Play.
These factors have enabled OMA SYSTEM to record a strong growth of both end users and Italian and foreign operators (retailers, distributors, etc.), which confirm the increasing diffusion and knowledge of OMA SYSTEM’s brand both at nationally and international level.
